The learning workshop Bråvannsåsen kindergarten is located in a quiet residential area in Kristiansand, and offers a varied educational offer for children. The kindergarten has large, bright premises and is divided into three departments: a large children's department called Hokus and two toddler departments, Filiokus and Pokus. With a total of 60 places, the kindergarten focuses on giving each child individual attention and care.
Outdoor activities are a central part of the kindergarten's offer, with two hiking days a week and daily outdoor time. The children have the opportunity to explore nature, and a playpen has been established on the hiking area for use during excursions. This gives the children a safe framework for playing and learning in the open air, and contributes to their development through playful learning, interaction and mastery. The kindergarten emphasizes that all children should be seen, heard and cared for, which is part of the educational concept.
