Stasjonshaven Kindergarten is a private kindergarten established in 1991, located in Grim in Kristiansand. The kindergarten has two departments, Alfa for children aged 0-3 years and Max Mekker for children from 3-6 years. The central location provides easy access to both the city center and nearby outdoor areas, which is part of the kindergarten's offer of varied play and learning in a safe environment.
The kindergarten is run as a cooperative, where share purchases give priority for admission. It is organized with an elected board consisting of three members from the parents and two from the employees, and follows current rules and requirements from the authorities. The activity program includes weekly visits to the Climbing Center, and the departments are on a trip two days a week. The kindergarten emphasizes small classes to ensure individual attention for each child, and has committed and qualified staff who contribute to a stimulating learning environment.
