Sørlandets Bilverksted AS, established in August 1998, is a Mekonomen workshop that has been part of the Mekonomen chain since 2001. The workshop offers a wide range of services, including repairs, oil changes and car service for all car brands. In addition, they perform statutory EU inspections for cars with a total weight of up to 7.5 tons. With modern equipment and diagnostic devices, the workshop is well equipped to handle both computer diagnostics and troubleshooting of car engines and electrical equipment.
Sørlandets Bilverksted AS places great emphasis on quality and competence. The mechanics regularly participate in courses and further education at ProMeister Academy to stay up to date on new products and solutions. In addition, the workshop offers rental cars while the customer's car is being repaired, as well as ordering tires and rims with conversion included. The workshop was named Mekonomen Workshop of the Year in 2015, which reflects the high trust they have among their customers.
