Agder Energi is a power group with operations throughout the value chain from production to consumer, and is Norway's largest player in energy production. The company has a strong focus on renewable energy, and offers services within hydropower, solar power, offshore wind and hydrogen. Agder Energi is a significant producer of electricity based on hydropower, which is the most important source of renewable energy in Norway. The company operates 49 wholly and partly owned power stations in Aust- and Vest-Agder, as well as in southwestern Telemark, and contributes 5% of Norway's total energy needs.
In addition to the production of renewable energy, Agder Energi is developing artificial intelligence to improve decision-making processes.
