Varodd AS was established in 1961 as a limited liability company with ownership from both the public and private sectors. The company currently has 393 employees, of which 180 are employed in permanent adapted work. Varodd AS consists of 13 companies operating in both Norway and Denmark, and its main purpose is to contribute to work inclusion and adapted qualification for people who are outside the working world.
The company offers a wide range of services, including the sale of work and leisure clothing, packaging, aids for the health and care sector, as well as catering and bakery products. In addition, Varodd AS provides warehousing and logistics services, rental of office and meeting room premises, powder coating, and printing and profiling services. Varodd AS has a strong focus on corporate social responsibility, and includes environmentally friendly initiatives such as a second-hand shop, as well as life skills courses to support employees in their development.
