Javel is a sculpture artist based in Kristiansand, educated at the Bergen Academy of Fine Arts. The artist has had a significant role as director of Bomuldsfabriken Kunsthall, where he has contributed to the development of contemporary art in the region. In 2008, Javel served as curator of Vestlandsutstillingen, an important platform for artists from Western Norway.
Javel has created several sculptures, including the works "Elektra", "Sol", "Javel", "Konglo" and "Genesis". The artist's work is characterized by an emphasis on interactivity and dynamism, which is expressed in the sculpture "Pulse", which symbolizes movement and life. "Genesis" is another notable work, which serves as a landmark in Sarpsborg and is closely linked to the history of the city.
