Farstad Sound Productions is a music publishing company based in Kristiansand, established by an experienced musician and educator. Since 1976, the company has offered classical guitar lessons, and has also specialized in historical instruments. The owner made his debut with a concert in Oslo in 1978 and has since built an extensive career in the music field.
With an education in public and cultural administration, education and sound engineering, as well as an artistic doctorate in classical guitar and lute, Farstad Sound Productions has contributed to the music community in several ways. The company has released 18 solo CDs and published several articles and books. In addition, the owner has participated in over 450 studio productions as both a musician and producer, and has been a member of the Agder Academy of Science and Literature since 2004. Master classes are also part of the offer, which further emphasizes the expertise and commitment to music education.
