Sidsel Jørgensen is a photographer with a degree from the SPEOS Photographic Institute in Paris. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Norwegian Photographers' Association (NBK), the Association of Independent Photographers (FFF) and the Press Photographers' Club (PK). Jørgensen has received several grants and has had studio stays, which have contributed to her development as an artist.
She has had a number of solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions, as well as made public decorations. Jørgensen has also been active in the art community as a former board member of Christianssands Kunstforening. Her participation in the Agder Biennale and the Sørlandsutstillingen show her commitment to regional art projects. In addition, she has experience as an editor and photographer for art magazines, and has published several books on photography and art.
