D/S Hestmanden is a Norwegian warship museum located at the quayside at Bredalsholmen Dokk and Fartøyvernsenter. The ship was built in 1911 in Bergen for Vesterålens Dampskipsselskap and has had a varied history, including transporting people and goods along the Norwegian coast in peacetime. During both world wars, D/S Hestmanden was used for convoy travel, a task that involved considerable risk. The ship survived both conflicts and is known to have been a particularly lucky ship.

In 2017, D/S Hestmanden opened to the public as part of the Vest-Agder Museum. The museum offers insight into maritime history and wartime sailing, and visitors can learn about the ship's significance and the dramatic experiences of sailors on Norwegian ships during the wars. After decades of restoration work, the ship was rechristened in 2011, and it now functions both as a sailing museum and as a place for disseminating the history of wartime sailors.
