Trainee Sør AS offers a regional trainee program for recent graduates with a master's degree, with a duration of 18 months. The program gives participants the opportunity to explore different industries, and includes collaboration with approximately 50 member companies. Trainee Sør aims to strengthen Sørlandet's competitiveness both nationally and internationally, and is aimed at ambitious candidates who want to kickstart their careers.
The program is divided into three periods, where trainees gain experience from both the public and private sectors. There is an emphasis on networking and developing professional skills, and participants have access to a trainee blog for sharing experiences. Trainee Sør also includes a mentoring scheme as well as professional and social activities, which helps to create strong relationships between trainees and businesses in Sørlandet.
