The Snack Kiosk, located on Tangen in Kristiansand, has been a part of the city's food scene since May 16, 1951, when it was founded by Leif E. Andersen as a hot dog stand. With over 70 years of experience in snack food, the kiosk has developed into a popular gathering place for locals, known for its varied snack favorites.
The kiosk offers a wide variety of dishes, ranging from traditional Norwegian dinner dishes to hamburgers and pizza. In 2015, an ice cream parlor was also opened, which has helped to expand the offering further. The Snack Kiosk maintains a traditional kiosk experience, making it a familiar and beloved place for both residents and visitors.
