Kristiansand Motor Boat Club, founded in 1910, is Norway's oldest motor boat club. The club has a pier that offers facilities such as electricity, light and water, and also has its own island, Prestøya, which serves as a gathering point for members. The club emphasizes the coastal environment, seafaring and maritime knowledge, and organizes, among other things, the National Maritime Safety Day.
In addition to its maritime activities, the club offers opportunities for socializing and events for the whole family. Members have access to an intranet where they can find minutes and documents. Autumn volunteer work and the general meeting are regular activities that contribute to the community in the club.
