The University of Agder (UiA) is a public university with two campuses in Kristiansand. The university has over 14,000 students and offers more than 200 different study programmes, spanning a wide range of fields. UiA was established as a university in 2007, but has roots that go back more than 190 years.
UiA focuses on international collaboration in research, education and innovation, and actively participates in research on current societal challenges. The university organizes public defenses and cultural events, and is committed to sustainability and social responsibility. Students have access to resources such as a library and guidance, as well as support through various student resources. In addition, opportunities for artistic development and collaboration are offered.
