Slow Bridge is an art and community project in Kristiansand that involves 5,000 children in the development of the urban space. The project is designed with 5,300 painted mirror tiles, which provide a unique visual experience. Slow Bridge is the result of a collaboration between Anna Berthelsen, The Tall Ship Races Kristiansand and Kristiansand Municipality, and has received funding from Cultiva.
The project aims to promote creativity and community, and includes a number of activities aimed at children and young people. Slow Bridge has become an integral part of local cultural life and was officially opened in connection with the activity house at Odderøya Museum Harbor. Through its focus on participation and collaboration, the project contributes to strengthening ties in the local community.
