FRAM & Tacotrucken is a voluntary organization that focuses on mentoring youth at risk of substance abuse and crime. The organization offers job training and paid jobs, and uses recognized methods such as Supported Employment and Motivational Interviewing to create motivation and responsible choices among participants. Through customized individual mentoring programs, they help youth build a better future.
Tacotrucken, which is part of FRAM, makes and sells authentic Mexican tacos and nachos from a food truck located at Coop Extra in Grim. Every taco and portion of nachos sold contributes to the organization's work with youth at risk of exclusion, by providing them with paid work that provides both coping and an introduction to working life. The organization develops tailored plans in collaboration with the youth, where work, activity and milieu therapeutic efforts are combined to promote their development.
