Lier Kulturskole is an educational institution that offers training in music, singing, theater, dance, visual arts and crafts. The school is aimed at children and young people aged 3 to 19, and teaching takes place both in the Kulturskole's own premises and in the municipality's schools. This gives students the opportunity to participate in creative activities close to where they live.
Teaching hours are adapted to after-school hours, and activities take place in the afternoon and evening. Lier Kulturskole follows the school schedule, which means that the holidays correspond to those of primary schools. The main admission of students takes place in June, but there is also the possibility of ongoing applications. If the offer is full, students can be placed on a waiting list.
