FilmReg is an umbrella organization that brings together regional film centers and funds in Norway. The organization aims to support the development of film projects in different regions, and works actively to promote the Norwegian film industry and culture. Through cooperation with actors such as FilmCamp and the International Sami Film Institute (ISFI), FilmReg contributes to strengthening the regional film community.
In addition to project development, FilmReg is involved in political processes by providing consultation input to the state budget and regulations. The organization also participates in input meetings with the Storting, where they promote issues of importance to the film industry. This involvement shows FilmReg's dedication to influencing the framework conditions for film production in Norway.
