Legespesialistene Lillehammer was established in 2007 and has since then offered specialized services in eye health. The center has a team of five ophthalmologists, an optician, an auxiliary nurse and two health secretaries. Located in the old post office in the city center, it is easily accessible to patients.
The center offers a variety of services, including diagnostics and surgical activities such as cataract surgery and lens replacement. To book an appointment, a referral from a general practitioner, public health nurse or optician is required. It is also possible to use SMS booking for consultations and cancellations. The medical specialists are closed for the summer in weeks 28, 29 and 30, and there are reduced opening hours in week 31.
