The Norwegian Amateur Theatre Association aims to promote amateur theatre as an important part of the cultural offer in Norway. The association functions as a unifying body for amateur theatre groups, associations, teams and foundations, and offers a platform for cooperation and competence development. Through membership, interested parties are given the opportunity to become part of a larger community that shares a common interest in theatre.
The association arranges various theatre performances, including well-known productions such as "Snowfall" and "Alice in Wonderland". In addition to supporting the development of amateur theatre, they work to strengthen the network between actors in the field. This contributes to an increased quality and variety in amateur theatre experiences throughout the country.
