Smeltedigelen Musikkfestival AS organizes a festival that lasts three days, offering a varied program of concerts. The festival also serves as a meeting place for artists and the audience, where interaction and sharing of musical experiences are facilitated. In addition to the concerts, the festival includes a free seminar series called Smeltedigelen Akademia, which takes place at Rana Bibliotek.
The events take place at several locations, including Nordland Teater, Scandic Meyergården, Park22 and Rana Bibliotek. All stages are adapted for disabled people and wheelchair users, ensuring accessibility for all visitors. The festival also offers discounted tickets for members of 4/4 Forum for takt og tone, as well as a festival newspaper that is distributed in cafes and is available digitally.
