The Polar Circle Top Sports Association aims to support young athletes with international potential. The organization was established by local enthusiasts to systematize sponsorship of talents in various sports. Through the Polar Circle Top Sports Fund, the association can annually distribute support of around NOK 200,000 to athletes who want to develop further in an international arena.
The application process for support is digital, which makes it easier for athletes to apply for funds. The association is open to membership from both companies and organizations, and currently has around 20 member companies. The focus is on helping young athletes regardless of the type of sport, which contributes to a wide range of support schemes for talented individuals in the region.
