Molde Panorama is a viewpoint located on Varden, 407 meters above sea level. From here, visitors can enjoy an impressive view of Molde city and the surrounding fjord, including the many islets that characterize the landscape. The viewpoint also offers the opportunity to see a total of 222 mountain peaks, most of which are over 1000 meters high, making it an attractive place for both nature experiences and photography.
Access to Varden can be done by car, which takes about 10 minutes, or on foot via the scenic path known as "The Green Corridor," which takes about an hour to walk. At the top of Varden is the restaurant Vardestua, which offers refreshments to visitors. The viewpoint is open from May to October, and attracts many who want to experience the magnificent nature in the area.
