The Molde Fisheries Museum is a museum that focuses on coastal culture and fishing history. The museum offers a diverse collection of artifacts and a photo archive that documents the region's maritime heritage. In addition, the museum has a library of documentary heritage that provides insight into local history and traditions related to fishing and sea life.
Visitors can participate in guided tours outside of season, and boat transport is offered to Hjertøya, where additional exhibitions and activities can be experienced. During the summer season, there is also an open café, as well as opportunities to attend lectures and coffee breaks. The museum organizes special activities such as traditional Norwegian clothing courses and has workshops for craft services. It is also possible to rent houses and areas for various events.
