Krona is a regional museum serving several municipalities in Romsdal. The museum has a varied collection of objects and documents that shed light on local history. The permanent exhibition "Romsdal Stories" provides insight into the living conditions of the Romsdal people through different eras. In addition, the museum has space for changing exhibitions, with 5-6 new exhibitions per year, which gives visitors the opportunity to experience different themes and perspectives.
The museum also offers a number of services, including a library and photo archive, as well as craft services and workshops. In Bunad Verksted, visitors can have both women's and men's bunads from Romsdal sewn, as well as rent bridal accessories. Krona also has a café, Kafé Mali, which serves local lunch dishes, cakes and yeast pastries, and offers catering. Venues for events are available, including the auditorium with seating for 87 people. The museum shop has a selection of gift items, many of which are produced locally.
