Skrenten Borettslag is beautifully located in Kvam, about 5 km west of Molde city centre. It is the largest housing estate in Molde, with 220 apartments spread over two blocks and eight terraced houses. The housing estate was built in 1979 and has communal garages under the blocks, as well as external parking areas at each end. There is also a car wash at the entrance to the garage facilities. An internal pedestrian walkway runs through the housing estate, and adjacent to this there are nice green areas with several playgrounds.
The housing estate is close to various facilities, including kindergartens, primary school, Molde University College, shops with postal services, a doctor's office and football pitches. Pedestrian and cycle paths provide easy access to nearby areas such as Moldemarka and Kringstadbukta. There is also a central bus stop with frequent departures, making it easy to commute to and from Molde. The housing association has entered into an agreement with NOKAS AS for lock-in assistance, which can be a useful service for unit owners.
