The biggest news of the season comes from Narvik: the Narvikfjellet ski resort is opening a new high-speed gondola, the Narvik Gondola 2025. The launch is planned for mid-December, just before the Christmas holidays.

The gondola will take you up to 1,006 metres in just 8 minutes — twice as fast as the old lifts. Tourists, who often complained about long queues and slow lifts in previous seasons, are looking forward to this event.
