Baker Brun was established in Oslo in 1911, but has roots back to Bergen from 1827. The first Baker Brun, Jacob Bentson Brun, started his business in Bergen, and the company has since then been run by the Brun family through six generations. Today, Baker Brun is managed by Magnus Brun, who took over responsibility in 2018 after his father, Axel. The company has been based in the same building since its inception, which gives the business a historical significance.
