W.B. Samson, established in 1894, is one of Oslo's oldest bakeries. The bakery specializes in a variety of baked goods, including sourdough bread, cinnamon buns, school bread, cakes and wieners. W.B. Samson attaches great importance to quality and uses handmade methods, where the bread is left to rise for a long time and baked in a hot stone oven.
In addition to baked goods, the bakery offers lunch with a focus on good ingredients. They collaborate with Valdresmeieriet to produce their own cheese made from milk from local farms, and use mountain pigs from Valdres in their products. Recently, they have also started pressing their own orange juice, which has become known for its taste.
