Baglerbyen FUS kindergarten opened in new premises in September 2014 and offers four departments for children aged 1 to 6 years. The nursery uses the FUS method, which emphasizes self-management in play and learning. This educational approach is designed to promote children's independence and curiosity.
The nursery has a playground on the roof, which gives the children the opportunity to play outdoors in a safe environment. In addition to the physical activity on the playground, the nursery carries out frequent trips in the local area, at least once a week. To ensure a safe environment for the children, staff have undergone first aid courses and the nursery follows the Institute of Public Health's infection guidelines for good hygiene. Parental cooperation is also an important part of the nursery's everyday life, which contributes to close cooperation between home and nursery.
