Espira Gartnerløkka is a nursery school located on Løren in the district of Grünerløkka in Oslo municipality. The nursery has six wards spread over two floors and houses approximately 120 children, together with 28 staff. A separate chef prepares nutritious food for the children, and three healthy meals are served daily, which eliminates the need for packed lunches. The rooms in the nursery are designed to function as the "3rd teacher", which means that they are adapted to the children's play and interests. Each department has its own theme or game, and the rooms are developed in step with the children. The outdoor area is large and modern, with a cycle track, play equipment for all ages, as well as a popular toboggan run in winter.
