The learning workshop Konfektfabrikken barnehage is located in Oslo and opened its doors in August 2014. The nursery has four departments and offers light, airy premises with specialized specialist rooms for various activities. The children get the opportunity to play outside every day, either in the backyard or in the immediate area, which promotes physical activity and exploration of the surroundings.
The nursery serves a hot meal four days a week, as well as homemade granola and fruit, which contributes to a varied diet. In addition, the nursery has an arrangement where the children sleep outside in their own prams, with an adult looking after them. The location near the Freia chocolate factory provides good public transport links, making it easy for parents to get to and from.
The learning workshop Konfektfabrikken kindergarten focuses on seeing, hearing and caring for each individual child. Through playful learning, interaction and mastery, the nursery school wants to give the children a solid foundation for personal development.
