The Valley Kindergarten is located in an old villa at the bottom of Nedre Stabbursvei. The nursery is owned by the parents and has room for 32 children in three sections. The departments include Smårips for children aged 1-2 years with 6-7 children, Cranberries for 2-3-year-olds with 7-8 children, and Blueberries for children aged 3-6 with 18 children.
The nursery focuses on creating a good everyday life for both children, parents and staff. Emphasis is placed on being present for the children and appreciating the moments in everyday life. The focus areas include play and the development of social competence, which is central to the nursery school's pedagogical approach.
