Veslefrikk Kanvas kindergarten is located in Oslo and is part of Kanvas, Norway's largest non-profit kindergarten foundation. The nursery has recently moved into charming premises in an old house on the hospital grounds after the fire in the former premises in the spring of 2023. The nursery emphasizes a varied play environment that includes both role-play and construction play, as well as a fantastic outdoor area with climbing trees, cycle path and kitchen garden.
In Veslefrikk Kanvas nursery school, the focus is on a good physical nursery environment and environmental education, with plans to further strengthen this in 2025. The nursery school has a packed lunch-free scheme with homemade food made from scratch. There is also close cooperation between the departments, with the principle "All children are everyone's children" as an important part of the community. The nursery carries out regular outing days for all departments, which promotes activity and togetherness among the children.
