Oasen second-hand shop is part of a mission work that has been active in Latvia since 1992. The shop was established to support various mission projects, and the profit from the sale goes to aid shipments which are usually organized twice a year. The oasis is located next to Christ Church's meeting rooms, which gives a close connection to the church's activities.
The store offers a varied selection of used goods, including clothing, shoes, furniture, electrical items, glass and art. Most of the articles come from gifts or have been purchased at low prices. In addition to the sale of goods, there is an opportunity for visitors to have a coffee in the shop, which creates a social arena. Oasen also runs a street church with street evangelism, which is part of their vision to spread the message of Christ.
