Øystein Røger is an experienced actor with education from the Norwegian Theater Academy and studies in theater science at the University of Bergen. He has been employed at the National Theater since 1993, where he has played over 70 roles. Røger has had a significant presence in the theater environment, with leading roles in seven of Jon Fosse's drama productions.
In addition to his work at the Nationaltheatret, Røger has participated in several productions for the Radioteateret and the Norwegian Ibsenkompaniet. He has also taken part in the monologue performance "If this is a human being" based on Primo Levi's work. Røger has been involved in the artistic management at Tors, which further emphasizes his involvement in the theater field.
