Venke Marie Sortland is a trained dancer from the School of Contemporary Dance in Oslo. With experience as a performing dancer, she has participated in several projects and worked with renowned choreographers such as Caroline Nesse and Camilla Myhre. Her background also includes the production and management of her own artistic projects, as well as participation in performances on recognized stages such as Rom for Dans.
Sortland offers guidance and teaching in dance, and she is actively involved in the development of contemporary dance in Norway. She has also collaborated with secondary schools in interdisciplinary projects, which helps to promote the art of dance among young performers. Her work reflects a dedication to both artistic development and educational communication.
