Fjellstadbakken is an outdoor training facility that offers a varied range of boot camp training. The facility is equipped with equipment made from natural materials, and focuses on strength, resilience and balance. The historic slalom slope, which was built by Oslo municipality in 1972, has previously been a popular destination for ski winters, especially in the 1970s and 1980s.
In addition to the training facilities, Fjellstadbakken has operational responsibility for Fjelstadstua, which is used for outdoor education. The facility offers activities for various age groups, including para sports, and organizes club races, championships and special events such as Children's Ski Day. The support from local enthusiasts helps to maintain and develop the range of activities.
