Nordstrand Rotary Club has its meeting rooms in Nordstrandveien, which have recently been newly inaugurated. The club emphasizes community and commitment, which is expressed, among other things, through an annual May 17 café, which has proven to be a great success. In addition, the club carries out a strategy process called "Club Visioning", which aims to involve the members in the club's development.
The club also has a varied program of lectures and meetings with guest lecturers who address current topics. One of the notable features has been a talk by Lord Martin, who shared his story with members. Nordstrand Rotary Club has a strong focus on freedom of expression and community engagement, and has honorary member Eldar Hansen, who was previously football president.
