The Blood Cancer Association is an organization that offers support to people affected by blood cancer, as well as their relatives. The association has eleven local teams spread across the country, which function as meeting places for community and activities. These local teams give members the opportunity to participate in various events and activities that promote unity and support.
The organization hosts seminars that focus on different blood cancers, including acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). The blood cancer association also offers the opportunity to talk to peers, which can be an important resource for those who want to share experiences. In addition, the association has an associated hematologist who answers questions related to blood cancer, and they share patient stories to increase understanding of the disease and strengthen the community. Information about new treatments and research studies in blood cancer treatment is also part of their offer.
