MAS culture and activity center is a non-profit foundation that offers an activity center for adults between 18 and 67 years of age. The centre's aim is to support people who are completely or partially outside working life and studies, with a particular focus on those with physical or mental health challenges. Through various courses in needlework and weaving, MAS emphasizes mastery, activity and interaction among the participants.
The center annually organizes an exhibition where student work is displayed and sold, which gives the participants an opportunity to show off their skills and increase their self-esteem and self-confidence. MAS also collaborates with other courses and projects, which promotes community and the sharing of experiences among the participants.
