Opplysningsvesenets Fond (OVF) was established in 1821 and its main task is to manage property and values related to the parishes in Norway. During its 200 years, the fund has contributed to the development of local communities across the country. OVF focuses on the needs of both the past and the future, and offers services in agriculture as well as specializing in the management and development of property, cultural heritage and natural resources.
The fund has also developed useful application forms for users who wish to benefit from their services. In addition to the central administration, OVF has two subsidiaries: Clemens Eiendom, which works with property and site development, and Clemens Kraft, which is one of the largest players in Norway in the development and operation of small power. Through these activities, OVF contributes to sustainable development and value creation in various communities.
