Solstua is a historic hunting villa that was built in 1905 by Sam Eyde, with interior design by architect Arnstein Arneberg in 1916. The villa has preserved its original interior from the early 20th century and is situated in a scenic location with a panoramic view of Oslo. The building has five living rooms and can accommodate up to 80 guests in the dining room, making it suitable for various events such as weddings, anniversaries, conferences and overnight stays.
The property has 7-9 bedrooms with capacity for 14-22 beds. The sunroom is rented unattended, which gives the tenant the freedom to organize food and serving according to their own wishes. It is common to hire the venue from Thursday evening to Sunday evening, and all necessary equipment is available on site for the event. Solstua is best known for its use as a wedding villa, and its unique atmosphere and location make it a popular choice for celebrations and gatherings.
