Bethel Adventist Church is a multicultural congregation with over 300 members, who gather to celebrate community in Jesus, study the Bible and praise God. The congregation observes the day of rest on Saturday, known as Sabbath, and offers services in both Norwegian and English, with the possibility of translation into Spanish, Russian and Kinyarwanda if necessary. This makes it possible for people from different backgrounds to participate in the community.
In addition to religious services, Bethel has a focus on healthy values and biblical topics. The congregation offers children's Sabbath school for age groups from 0 to 16 years, as well as baptism classes led by the pastor or members of the congregation. The activities are organized through Spond, which provides members with information about the congregation's events. After the service, there are musical elements, known as postludium, which contribute to the community experience. Bethel congregation wants everyone to feel welcome, and lives by the motto "A house of prayer for all peoples".
