Bekkelaget church was designed by municipal architect Harald Bødtker and was completed in 1923. It has a stone construction characterized by neo-Romanesque arches and vaults, which gives the church a characteristic appearance. The interior of the church is decorated by Martin Enevold Thømt, who has contributed to the aesthetic expression of the room. With a capacity of 450 people, including the gallery, the church is well suited for both church services and other events.
Surrounding the church is the cemetery, which was inaugurated in 1937. This includes an urn grove and memorial groves, which provide a quiet and dignified place for memory and reflection. Near the church there is also the Bekkelaget congregation center, which provides opportunities for various activities and gatherings in the congregation.
