Evangelische Gemeinde deutscher Sprache in Norwegen is an evangelical congregation that has been active since 1909. It offers a community for German-speaking people in Norway, whether they are visiting, living or looking for a place to belong. The congregation organizes religious services, talks and cultural activities, and has a special focus on creating an inclusive environment for its members.
The congregation collaborates with the Church of Norway and the Evangelische Kirche in Deutschland (EKD) to offer a varied programme. Child-friendly services with its own children's church are part of the offer, and holidays and church years are celebrated with special events. Although the congregation has its headquarters in Oslo, activities are also organized in other places in Norway. Membership and donations are tax deductible.
