Gamle Aker church center is associated with St. Hanshaugen parish, which was formerly known as Gamle Aker menighet, and is part of The Norwegian Church. The center includes two churches: Gamle Aker church and Lovisenberg church. Both churches offer a varied program of church actions and activities for the congregation.
In addition to the traditional services, Gamle Aker church center organizes various events throughout the year, including an autumn program with special activities. A notable event is the baptismal font dedication, which includes a copy of a historic baptismal font from 1715. The center also has its own Gamle Aker Sunday, where a new processional cross is inaugurated. Forum for faith and thought focuses on Luther and the Reformation, and tours are offered in the Lovisenberg museum. Sermons from the church year 2024-25 will be available to the congregation.
