The Ghousia Muslim Society was established in 1989 by Muslims with a Pakistani background and is the fifth Muslim congregation in Oslo. The mosque offers a variety of services for its members, including Friday prayer and khutbah. During Ramadan, Dars e Quran is held daily, which provides an opportunity for a deeper understanding of the Quran.
In addition to the daily prayers, the Ghousia Muslim Society organizes Eid prayers and celebrations of religious holidays. The mosque also offers marriage services (nikah) for couples who wish to enter into marriage. Members are encouraged to support the mosque through contributions and Zakat, and the mosque has developed the IRN Prayer app to provide information about prayer times and alerts.
