Islamic Cultural Center Norway was established in 1974 as the first Islamic organization and mosque in Norway. The center was established with the aim of preserving the Islamic identity and promoting knowledge about Islam, especially among the first Muslim immigrants who came to the country in the 1970s. In 1999, a plot of 1,260 square meters was purchased in Oslo, and the current building was completed in February 2009, financed mainly by Muslims in Norway.

The center offers a range of services including Hajj/Umrah, Nikah (marriage) and mosque tours. It has specific programs aimed at women and youth, as well as teaching and courses on Islamic culture and faith. In addition, the Islamic Cultural Center engages in dialogue about Islam and offers mobile applications for easier access to resources. For children, there are also activities that include activity books and stories, which help convey Islamic culture in an engaging way.
