Messiah Church is a congregation that offers services every Sunday, where Sunday school and church coffee are also arranged for visitors. The church has its origins as a house community that was established in 2005. The congregation emphasizes community and openness in faith, which is reflected in their activities and gatherings.
In addition to the weekly services, the Church of the Messiah arranges Bible studies on Zoom most Thursdays, which gives members the opportunity to participate from home. The services are also streamed on YouTube, making them accessible to a wider audience. Chaplain Håvard Evensen is in the process of completing his master's degree in theology, and the congregation has an administrative council that handles finances and strategic decisions.
