The Norwegian Mission Church was founded in 1884 as a congregational movement with a focus on mission. The organization has grown significantly and today consists of over 90 congregations spread across the country. As a national church community, the Mission Church of Norway is engaged in both national and international work, and aims to promote unity among God's children and work for the salvation of people.
One of the central activities in Mission Church Norway is the Life & Growth summer festival, which brings together members and interested parties for fellowship and spiritual replenishment. In addition, the church has developed a joint Christian calendar that facilitates cooperation between congregations, which emphasizes their emphasis on community and cooperation in the work of faith.
